Alex Zhavoronkov, PhD has over ten years of experience in business development, marketing and general management in information technology and life sciences industries. Prior to joining Colby Pharmaceutical Company, Dr. Zhavoronkov had a successful career as Sales Director at ATI Technologies, Inc, President of Mediox, Inc. and Director of Business Development at GTCbio.
He is also a trustee and head of fundraising at Biogerontology Research Foundation, a UK-based charity organization focused on alleviating suffering in the elderly.

Dr. Zhavoronkov holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science degrees from Queen’s University, a Master of Science degree from John Hopkins University and a PhD degree from Moscow State University.
